At Residential Design Group, Inc., we can help you design your ideal home. We have the skills and experience to ensure that your structural plans are sound before the first beam is placed. If required, a professional engineer will sign and seal your layout. Our services include:

Ø       Specific designs specialty tailored to your exact needs and affordability. RDG, Inc. can take your favorite photos, magazine clips and sketches to develop the home of dreams.  RDG, Inc. can also provide these preliminary ideas after a short conversation of your thoughts and ideas.

Ø       When it comes to water front homes, there's nothing more important then introducing the tranquility of the water into your home with smart window designs.

• Smart Basements

Ø       Existing beam/post analyst for relocation, door swing/duct work coordination, structural details for new exterior door openings

Ø       There is a wide variety of garages we can do for you.  A great garage is a well planned garage

• Second-Floor Additions Over Existing Floors

Ø       We will first evaluate the condition of the existing footer by digging one to three test bores. We will take footing thickness and projection measurements. Next, calculations will be made to verify existing load capacity. Lastly, existing window/door header capacity will be evaluated as well as impact of a new stairwell at the first floor.

• Permit & Bid Drawings Permit & Bid Drawings

Ø       Bid Drawings are to provide consistency when given to various contractors for bidding. Permit Drawings are for submission to local county permit agency to obtain a building permit.

• Free On-Site Consultations

Ø       RDG, Inc. charges no fee for first time site visit evaluation.

• Free Estimates

Ø       All Estimates are free and all pricing quotes are made at site visit.

The RDG Process : You can contact RDG Inc. by phone or email.  RDG Inc. will contact you to schedule an appointment with you at the project site.  After discussing with you and evaluating the site, RDG Inc. can explain how the drawing package will look and what the cost will be.  At acceptance of price, a contract will be generated for both parties to sign.  At signing, RDG Inc. will receive 1/3 payment. This begins the design development process .  RDG Inc. will call to schedule an appointment to show the preliminary designs. When the design is complete and accepted  by all parties, approximately 4 sets of prints will be produced. At this time the final 2/3 payment is due.
